2025 Letter from the President

Hume City FC President, Ersan Gülüm addresses the club community following the conclusion of the 2025 season.

Dear Members, Players, Families, and Supporters,

With the 2025 season for both seniors and juniors now at a close, on behalf of myself, Vice President Haydin Bekir, and the entire Hume City management team, I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved with the club for their contributions on and off the pitch.

On the field, from the seniors all the way through to our Miniroos, every team has shown determination and passion despite 2025 being a challenging year from a results point of view. Most importantly, the foundations for a strong future are clearly visible, and we remain committed to developing our players and strengthening our junior programs to ensure that upward trajectory continues.

I am deeply grateful to the entire playing group for the pride they show in wearing the jumper and representing the club week in and week out. Off the field, the support from our volunteers, coaches, and families has been outstanding—you are the heart and soul of this club, and without you, we wouldn’t be where we are today.

A big thank you also to our sponsors and partners, whose backing allows us to keep improving and providing opportunities for our players.

This is a special club, and it is the people behind it who make it what it is and is the main reason I remain 100 per cent committed to building Hume City into the strongest version of itself.

Looking back, there have been many highlights from my first year as President, including the homecoming of club legend Nick Hegarty as senior coach, and the incredible atmosphere created by our fans at Nasiol Stadium.

Once again, thank you for your passion and commitment. I look forward to another exciting season together in 2026.
