Hume City has drawn with Northcote City 2-2 after dominating the play for most of the match at Valley Park.
With both teams starting the match in fine form, it was Northcote City which troubled the scoreboard at the 13th minute with former Hume City player Trent Nixon scoring after a deflection from the Hume City defence, sending the away team ahead.
 Bouyed by the quick start Northcote almost made it 2-0 after Serda Pir failed to clear the ball leaving Eddie Soares to almost convert only to be denied by Acevski at the 16th minute.
With new signing Aziz Behic settling into his new surroundings, Hume City lifted the tempo of the match at the 20th minute, working hard to find the equaliser.
Andy Vlahos intelligently set up striker Petrevski at the 25th minute, only for the ball to be denied by the cross bar after a great strike on goals. With home team feeling like a goal was close by, Behic continued to attack through the wings only to have his ball go just wide of the Nortchote goals.
It wasnt until Fab Delizzio headed the ball at the back post after a Hume City cross by Cardozo in the 36th minute which saw the match level. Sniffing the goal feeling, Delizzio followed up with another shot on goal this time only to be denied by the cross bar at the 45th minute sending both teams into the break locked at 1-1.
 Hume City continued the match from where it left it, with Opazo, Vlahos, Petrevski and Behic creating immense headaches for the away team. At the 56th minute, Petrevski, spotted the new recruit on the wing and put a brilliant ball through which was intercepted by Theodoridis-Petropoulos, preventing Behic from getting to the ball in time.
Petrevski enjoying a good run with the ball and took a briliant free kick only for the ball to travel just wide of its target at the 58th minute.
Northcote almost took the lead after Nixon set up McGough infront of goal, only to be denied by a desperate Baser at the last minute sending the Northcote ball out for a throw in.
Andy Vlahos decided at the 65th minute to take matters into his own hands narrowly missing a one on one with the keeper after turning the Northcote City defence inside out. As the game progressed it became a battle of the midfields, and at the 80th minute, Sumbul put Andy Vlahos through down the right side who cleverly crossed the ball into Behic who tapped in his first goal for his new team sending the home crowd wild. With a deserved 2-1 lead Hume City almost made it 3-1 after Zoran Petrevski missed an absolute open goal, with the ball deflecting off the Northcote defence at the 82nd minute of the match.
 Continuing its attack on the away team goals Hume City striker Sumbul took a long distance bomb which again hit the Northcote defence. With compete domination of the second half, and the match almost over, Hume City saw the ball in its net after Kalifatidis scored the equaliser when the referee didnt blow his whistle for offside at the 45th minute after his linesman lifted his flag, and the match resulted in a shock 2-2 draw.
Hume City welcomes Green Gully to Valley Park next week, whilst Northcote City hosts an in-form Richmond.

After suffering an embarrasing defeat at the hands of South Melbourne, Hume City has made it two in a row, defeating an inform Bentleigh Greens 5-1 away from home. Playing in wet conditions both teams started in a hurry with Bentleigh Greens' Damir Lokvancic scoring 7 minutes into the game, sending the home crowd wild. The celebrations didn't last long with young striker Turhan Sumbul setting up Richard Cardozo at the 8th minute equalising the game in style. The Greens continued to push forward tying to create goal positions through Ouliaris and Rojas only to be denied by a tight knit City defence and an inform Louie Acevski. Hume City came close after Bosevski took a long range shot at the 15th minute with the ball deflected by the Greens defence for a corner. With the players adjusting to the slippery conditions well, the Greens almost scored a certain goal only for young defender Delizzio cutting off a through ball keeping his team in the contest. With the City midfielders slowly gaining the upper hand through the midfield, Hume City almost snatched the lead after Vlahos and Sumbul teamed up to set Baser through who crossed in a stunning ball to Talevski who inturn missed a certain goal at the 25th minute of the match. Gaining confidence, powerful striker Sumbul, cleverly headed the ball to the feet of Alfonso Opazo who took a long distance shot which was deflected by the defence narrowly missing the goals at the 41 minute mark, sending both teams into the rooms locked at 1-1. Making one change at halftime with Zoran Petrevski coming on for coach Andy Vlahos, Hume City took the game to a different level forming attacks on the Greens goals from all angles. Petrevski came ever so close at the 50th minute with a trademark header sending the ball just over the cross bar. With Talevski playing himself into much needed form, Hume City gained the lead after Opazo took an outstanding strike on the opposition goals from outside the 18 yard box. Smelling victory, Hume City ran riot with Richard Cardozo finishing a brilliant ball by Sumbul sending his team 3-1 ahead. With the Greens unable to contain a hungry city outfit a rampant Turhan Sumbul finished off twice in 8 minutes to lock in the final scores walking away with a 5-1 victory at Kingston Heath Soccer Complex. Hume City takes on Northcote City next week at Broadmeadows Valley Park.

Hume City returning to Valley Park for the third week in a row, were pumped to avenge the unexpected defeat to South Melbourne by scoring through the good work of young striker Turhan Sumbul who put the ball in the Altona goals after 2 minutes of play. Eager to gain some respect Hume City continued to press on the Altona goals through Richard Cardozo and Andy Vlahos who returned for his team after 4 weeks on the sidelines through a knee injury.  It was the experienced Vlahos who almost made it 2-0 after a brilliant cross by Sumbul, only to send the ball wide of the goals. Hume City which had full control of the midfield through Baser and Opazo continued to attack down the wings with Valhos and Talevski causing the Magic headaches down the wings. Altona who battled the early onslaught by Hume City came close after a long ball into attack which was cleared by Turhan Sumbul in defence at the 19th minute of the match. With Altona Magic fighting to swing the ascendency of the match their way, they almost scored an equaliser after Koce Delev sent the ball over the cross bar for Altona Magic.  With Pece Siveski and Matthew Theodore lifting the midfield tempo, Hume City found the ball in the back of their net after Radojicic scored from a ripping strike sending both teams into the halftime break at 1-1. The second half began as the first ended with Altona Magic eager to slog out a draw from Valley Park. With the physicallity in the match lifting a knotch, Theodre took a long distance shot on goal only to be denied by Acevski at the 50 minute mark. Izzy Erdogan was in everything making sure every attack formed by Magic was dismissed along with a steady performance by Fab Delizzio and Serda Pir in defence. Richard Cardozo inflicted pain for the Magic after his brilliant cross was sent into the goals by the defenders at the 54th minute of the match to send the home team up 2-1.  With Altona becoming increasingly frustrated, Hume City continued to attack on the Magic goals, unable to pass the keeper. Altona Magic almost equalised at the 63rd minute when Acevski leaped for a ball only to mistime it with the defence lunging to clear an almost certain goal for the Magic. With Hume sensing victory Vlahos, Sumbul and Cardozo continued to attack on goals with no success and the match finsihing 2-1, giving Hume City their 6th victory from 9 matches and leaving Altona at the bottom of the table with only 1 win for the 2010 season.
