Hume City’s under 20 side has climbed into third spot on the ladder after a comprehensive 4-0 win over St Albans at ABD Stadium on Saturday.
Hume raced out to an early lead thanks to a long range screamer from Adam Or.
Or’s goal was followed up by a second Hume City goal, this time from Moey Abbas, who went on a brilliant solo run to finish and give Hume City a 2-0 lead before half time.
Hume continued its dominance in the second half with Hus Saglam’s side dominant in most areas of the park.
Lochie Smith effectively put the game to bed in when he rounded the St Albans ‘keeper to increase Hume’s lead to three goals.
Three became four not long after when captain Umut Bozdugan scored with a well hit strike from 20 meters out.
Speaking after the game, head coach Hus Saglam hailed the attitude of his team which climbed to third position on the ladder as a result of its win over St Albans.

“I felt that our backline was solid, our midfield was dominant and relentless all game,” Saglam said.
“Our forwards were on the score sheet so overall I can say it was a good all round team performance and we are heading in the right direction with our young squad.”
Next up for Hume City is another home tie, this time against Pascoe Vale, at ABD Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
