REPORT: Under 14 girls defeat Manningham

Hume City’s under 14 girls team registered an away win when it defeated Manningham 4-1 on Sunday.

Yaren Sargin opened up the scoreboard with a powerful strike  in the 6th minute giving Hume City an early lead.

The hosts would manage to level the scores minutes later via a penalty kick.

Hume regathered its momentum and took back the lead in the 36th minute when Yaren Sargin took the ball down the left hand side and delivered a well hit strike which nestled in the back of the net.

Mariam Al Saadi increased Hume’s lead to two goals in the 46th minute after she finished with the assist coming from Anabella Yacoub.

Al Saadi scored her second goal of the game in the 50th minute when she pounced on a Sara Ismail strike which was spilled by the Manningham ‘keeper, with Hume City registering an impressive 4-1 win.

Next up for Hume City is a home game against Pascoe Vale at ABD Stadium on the 21st May,  kick off  at 12:00pm
