Hume City’s under 18 side made it seven wins from seven games when it trounced Bendigo City 7-0 on Sunday.
Behic Eraltay got the scoring underway when he netted with a well placed strike in the 14th minute.
Ethan Flint made it 2-0 on the verge of half time when he scored from a direct free kick in the 4oth minute.
Miguel Caceres made it 3-0 one minute later when he converted a Esad Saglam cross.
The goals continued to rain down in the second half with Caceres netting another goal in the 50th minute whilst Joshua Addo run rampant scoring a second half hat trick with goals in the 68th, 72nd and 80th minutes.
Speaking after the game, coach Brendan Boylan focussed on the performance of his defence which helped his side deliver another clean sheet.

“Another win on the board to continue our winning start to the season,” Boylan said.
“I’m really pleased for the defenders and Sam (Butcher) to have kept our second clean sheet of the season.
“Keeping clean sheets will be a big part in helping the team in the coming weeks, with some tough games coming up for the next two months. Looking forward to the challenge ahead to see how the group performs.’
The win sees Hume City lead the league on 21 points with an impressive goal difference of +26.
Next up for Hume City is an away clash with Avondale FC on Sunday the 7th of May, kick off 3:30PM.
