U18’s overcome Werribee City

Hume City’s under 18 side continued its impressive 2017 season with a 4-1 win over Werribee City at ABD Stadium on Sunday.

Esad Saglam opened the scoring for the home side with a an impressive strike in the 10th minute.

Moheb Khamisi made it 2-0 seven minutes later after converting an assist from Ethan Flint.

20 minutes later Flint would again be provider, this time Miguel Caceres with the finish to make the score 3-0 just before half time.

The second half would prove to be a more challenging a more challenging period with Werribee applying plenty of pressure.

However, in the 52nd minute Hume City found its fourth goal of the afternoon through the boost of Joshua Addo.

The visitors would find a goal of their own in the 71st minute but that would be how the scores stayed, Hume running out impressive 4-1 winners.

Next up for Hume City is an away clash with Bendigo City when the league returns after the Easter break.
