Al-Khirsany nets hat-trick as Hume U16’s record an impressive win

Hume City’s under 16 side recorded another impressive victory, this time defeating North Geelong 5-3 at Elcho Park on Sunday.
Talib Al-Khirsany opened the scoring for Hume in the 13th minute from a clever left foot strike inside the box.
Alex Istanto then made it 2-0 when he scored in the 20th minute from a run along the right wing.
North Geelong would score the next goal but was quickly countered when Al-Khirsany headed in a cross from James Siciliano in the 39th minute to end the first half 3-1.
The second half started much like the first, with Al-Khirsany (47’) guiding the ball past the keeper to complete his hat trick in the 47th minute.
Al-Khirsany would then score his fourth goal from outside the box in the 49th minute to take Hume to a commanding 5-1 lead.
The home side would peg back two goals but it wouldn’t be enough with Hume City running our 5-3 victors.
Hume’s under 16’s will return to ABD Stadium this week when they host Werribee City on Sunday April 9th.
