McGarry to call ABD Stadium home in 2017

Hume City is proud to announce the signing of former Melbourne Knights midfielder James McGarry.

McGarry, 28, is the fourth post season acquisition for Hume City joining Attila Offli, Ersin Kaya and most recently Wayne Wallace,

Hume City technical manager Dean Hennessey said believes McGarry’s signature will help Hume create more chances from midfield as well as providing some much needed experience, as he looks to take the club towards its first piece of NPL silverware in 2017.

“I’ve known James now since he arrived in Australia and after successful stints at Bentleigh and Melbourne Knights and we are really pleased he’s joined the club,” Hennessey said.

“James has a great presence on the pitch and is great passer of the ball and wants to be involved in everything.”

“He brings a wealth of NPL experience and flair plus a great presence so looking forward to working with him.”
