Hume City is proud to announce the signing of Declan Hargreaves, who will join the club in the mid-season transfer window.
The 21 year old midfielder makes the move to Hume after most recently featuring for Athena Floreat in the PS4 NPL WA.
Raised in Liverpool, Hargreaves moved to Australia at the age of 11 where he played his junior football at ECU Joondalup.
Hargreaves has also enjoyed spells at the NTC and Perth Glory Youth, before joining Bayswater City where he had a successful three year stint under the tutelage of former Socceroo Chris Coyne.
Hume City head coach Lou Acevski said he is looking forward to the energy Hargreaves will provide to the Hume City midfield.
“Declan is a defensive midfielder who can also play as a box to box midfielder and has a tireless work ethic”, Acevski said.
“He has plenty of senior experience for a young player and I’m looking forward to helping him reaching the next level of his career at Hume City.”
Hargreaves becomes the second mid-season signing for Hume City after announcing the signing former Goulburn Valley Suns striker Craig Carley last week.
