Hume City will look to build on a succesfull week in both the league and the FFA Cup, when it takes on Green Gully at Gully Reserve on Saturday
WHAT’S AT STAKE:
For Hume City, Saturday’s clash looms as a perfect opportunity for it to put together a good run of results, and climb back into the top 6. A win for Hume could see it leapfrog over Green Gully and Port Melbourne, who sit just one point above it.
KNOW YOUR OPPONENT:
Green Gully has taken on a different look this year, making a number of changes both on and off the pitch. Arthur Papas was appointed head coach in the off-season, and made a number of changes to the squad. Gully have registered 4 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses in a bright start to the season, currently sitting in 4th position on the ladder.
LOOK OUT FOR:
The young guns. After nailing down a starting spot, and scoring against Dandenong Thunder in the FFA Cup, Kristian Trajceski will be looking for another bright perfomance in midfield, where his combinations with Nick Hegarty and Hernan Espindola have been providing Hume City with a new threat going forward. Deniz Yildiz has also enjoyed a bright start to his senior Hume City career, looking more than capable after slotting in to the left back position.

LADDER POSITION: Hume City 6th (13 points) Green Gully 4th (14 points).
