FFA CUP PREVIEW | Dandenong Thunder vs Hume City

Hume City will look to continue its FFA Cup run when it takes on Dandenong Thunder at George Andrews Reserve on Wednesday night.

In its last FFA Cup outing, Hume City prevailed 1-0 in a hard fought match against Brunswick City, with Hernan Espindola scoring the winning goal in front of a strong crowd at ABD Stadium.

Hume’s next opponent, Dandenong Thunder, has started their 2016 season in style, with eight wins on the trot to start the year.

Thunder got their FFA Cup campaign off to a succesful start with a 3-0 win over fellow NPL 2 club Werribee City.

Wednesday night’s game looms as a chance for both sides to edge one more step closer to the national stage of the FFA Cup competition, where Hume made headlines in 2015.

Hume will come in to the contest with plenty of confidence after a hard fought win over Pascoe Vale on Saturday night.
