MATCH PREVIEW | Hume City vs Bentleigh Greens

Hume City will look to continue its unbeaten start to the 2016 season when it faces Bentleigh Greens at ABD Stadium on Saturday night.

Bragging rights are on the line at ABD Stadium, with Hume City looking to strengthen its title aspirations when it faces last years Grand Final winners, Bentleigh Greens. Both teams are unbeaten this season, with Greens sitting in second position on the ladder ahead of City on goal difference.

Bentleigh Greens have started their year with a bang, recording a 1-0 win over Bulleen Lions in round one, followed by a 6-1 win over Richmond SC in round two. The John Anastasiadis coached side have welcomed a flurry of new recruits in the off-season, most notably with Ross Archibald (Fortuna Dusseldorf) and Kamal Ibrahim (Port Melbourne) joining the Kingston Heath based club.

Hume City off-season recruit, Daniel Visevic, will look to pull the strings in midfield against his former side Bentleigh Greens. The attacking midfielder has impressed in pre-season, however he hit a speed bump in his Hume City debut after suffering a shoulder injury in its round 1 win against Richmond SC. Visevic will be racing against the clock to attain full fitness ahead of City’s round 3 clash with Bentleigh on Saturday. Should Visevic win that race, expect him to be prominent in the Hume City midfield.
