Kofi Danning joins Hume City

Hume City is proud to announce the signing of Kofi Danning, who will join the club for the 2016 NPL Victoria season.

Danning, formerly of Brisbane Roar and Sydney FC, most recently played with fellow NPL Victoria outfit Oakleigh Cannons, helping the club reach the quarter finals of the FFA Cup.

Danning has represented Australia at the under-20 World Cup in 2009, and has made over 30 appearances for the the under-20 and under-23 national sides.

Hume City head coach Lou Acevski said Danning’s pace will provide Hume with another attacking outlet, as the club seeks to secure its first ever NPL title in 2016.

“Kofi’s pace will cause headaches for all opponents, adding his A-League experience, he will be a real asset for us,” Acevski told HumeCityFC.com.

“His character will also fit in perfectly into our change room.  Great attitude and enthusiasm is what we look for in a player.”

Kofi Danning will be joined at ABD Stadium next year by fellow off-season signings Daniel Visevic, Tom Cahill, Kym Harris, Michael Trigger and Jeremy Walker.
