Tom Cahill joins Hume City on a two-year deal

Hume City is proud to announce the signing of Tom Cahill, who will join the club for the 2016/17 seasons.

Cahill, who captained Richmond SC for the last three years, has a formidable goal scoring record, netting 63 times from 71 appearances.

Throughout his career Cahill has collected numerous accolades, including the NPL1 Player’s Player of the Year and Golden Boot in 2014.

Cahill has also been the top goal scorer at Richmond SC for the last four years in a row.

Hume City head coach Lou Acevski said Tom’s proven goal scoring record will help Hume City in its quest to secure its first ever NPL Championship.

“Tom’s goal scoring record speaks for itself, wherever he has played he has scored a load of goals,” Acevski told HumeCityFC.com

“His experience and leadership skills will be vital for our team in our quest to be champions in 2016.”

Cahill will be joined at the club next year by fellow off-season signings Kym Harris, Michael Trigger and Jeremy Walker

Hume City has also re-signed the vast majority of its 2015 squad, with Nick Hegarty, Shane Rexhepi, Isyan Erdogan, Chris Oldfield, Joseph Franjic, Jai Ingham, Daniel Chaabani, Ivan Pavlak Theo Markelis, Daniel Clark and Sergio Msahli all committing themselves to another season at ABD Stadium.
