Hume City FC 14’s against Ballarat Red Devils

Hume City U14’s entered the field in Ballarat against a strong opposition and  a win needed to stay at the top of the ladder.

After a full week training the team was mentally and physically ready for one of the toughest games of the season that could make or break their title contentions.

We arrived in Ballarat seeing a beautiful sunny day and a friendly atmosphere. It was tough game with both teams starting very well. Hume was pressuring and attacking as well as defending, but received a penalty which was converted to make it 1-0. With half time near, Ballarat was still in shock of conceding the first goal when Hume managed to score a second goal, the half time score being 2-0 Hume’s way.

The second half continued as competitive as the first but no goals were scored. Another successful win for Hume City U14s.

Final score 2-o
